Requirements of the Outpatient Pharmacist:

• Outpatient pharmacy background and experience
• Must be a registered Pharmacist, BS, or PharmD
• Direct-hire Opportunity
• BLS Basic Life Support

Responsibilities of the Pharmacist:

• Prepare and dispense medications using appropriate techniques and following the policies and procedures.
• Design, recommend, monitor, and evaluate patient-specific pharmacotherapy.
• Provide concise, applicable, and timely responses to requests for drug information from healthcare providers and patients.
• Provide medication-use education to patients and caregivers.
• Utilize pharmacy support personnel effectively.
• Ensure continuity of pharmaceutical care to and from the acute and ambulatory patient-care settings.
• Participate in the established process for assessing, managing, and reporting medication errors.
• Participate in the management of medical emergencies.
