We are currently seeking a full-time Orthopedic Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant (Ortho NP/PA) to join our client’s reputable healthcare team in Northeast Oregon. As an Ortho NP/PA, you will be crucial in assisting orthopedic surgeons in providing top-quality care and treatment to patients. This position offers a unique opportunity to work in a collaborative environment to grow in the field. Job Responsibilities

  • Evaluate and treat orthopedic patients in an outpatient clinic setting, including new consults and follow-ups
  • Perform focused musculoskeletal exams, develop treatment plans, and coordinate care with the orthopedic team
  • Order and interpret appropriate imaging and diagnostic studies; communicate results and next steps
  • Manage conservative care plans and post-treatment follow-up, including patient education and rehab coordination
  • Perform in-office procedures within scope and competency (for example: injections, splinting/casting support, wound checks, suture removal)
  • Document visits accurately and efficiently in the EMR and support quality patient flow
  • Collaborate closely with orthopedic surgeons and experienced clinic staff, with dedicated clinical support to help you succeed


Minimum Qualifications

  • Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program (Orthopedic experience preferred), or graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant program
  • Current NP or PA-C national certification (or eligibility)
  • Eligible for Oregon licensure (or already licensed)
  • Strong clinical judgment, patient-first communication, and a collaborative team mindset
  • Comfortable managing an independent clinic schedule and building rapport with a rural patient population


Compensation & Benefits

  • Status: Full-time, hospital-employed
  • Clinic Schedule: Outpatient clinic open Monday through Friday, four 10-hour days per week
  • Total Compensation: $142,500+ with additional quality incentives up to $12,500 annually
  • Commencement Bonus: $20,000
  • CME: $8,000 annually (CME, licensing, dues/subscriptions) plus paid CME time
  • Additional Support: Student loan assistance
  • Benefits: Full benefits package including 401(k) match and paid malpractice
  • Relocation: Relocation support available
