Our client, located in the North Highlands area of California, is looking for a full-time, permanent Dentist to join their Community Health Center. Base Salary, Relocation, Tuition Reimbursement, and Comprehensive Benefits. They need someone to start immediately and are interviewing now!

 

Responsibilities of the Dentist

  • Examines individuals requesting care, diagnoses their dental/oral conditions, prescribes and carries out, or directs others in carrying out, appropriate dental/oral treatment, or refers individuals for specialty consultation or treatment in conformance with approved clinical protocols and guidelines
  • Educates individuals about oral health-related conditions and promotes general promotion of oral health-related disease prevention
  • Communicate with dental staff on our team regarding patient treatment plans
  • Supervises the clinical work of the dental assistants and hygienists


Minimum Requirements of the Dentist

  • Candidate must be board-certified or board-eligible and licensed to practice medicine in the State of California
  • Practice medicine in the State of California
  • Current, valid, and unsuspended State of California medical licensure.
  • DEA X-license required (waiver)
  • Current CPR certification required
  • At least 2 years of experience working with underserved, low-income persons or homeless persons preferred.
